Good Evening, I hope that everyone is doing well...
Me? I'm just here at work planning out what I believe will be my day-to-day driving itinerary for the drive out to Bellingham, Washington; my longest day of driving will be when I pass through Montana at around 12 1/2 hours.
This is what my plans look like for now::
August 3rd- Leave Indiana - Stop in Leavensworth, KS
August 4th- Leave Leavensworth, KS - Stop around Rapid City, SD (Find hotel room)
August 5th- Leave Rapid City, SD - Stop in Spokane, WA (Find hotel room)
August 6th- Leave Spokane, WA - Stop in Seattle, WA
August 7th- Leave Seattle, WA - Stop in Bellingham, WA (Find hotel room)
August 8th- Leave Bellingham, WA on ferry to Juneau, AK
August 11th- Leave Juneau, AK on ferry to Hoonah, AK.
I did decide to purchase a laptop before this trip begins so that I can stay in touch with everyone as I make my way west... I will try to do a blog every evening from my hotel room or wherever I am staying that night, and I am sure that there will be plenty of photos to share as well. This drive is quite intimidating to look at on a map, but it's an experience that I cannot wait to get started... I have always loved traveling but have gotten to do very little in my 23 years, now I will be able to see parts of this country that I may never have had the chance to see otherwise!
With Schmoopee as my co-pilot, what more could a girl ask for when it comes to a little summer adventure?!

I am excited for you girl! This is going to be quite an adventure for you and Schmoopee. Hopefully, the trip will go smooth as butter. I will pray that you two will be safe and arrive at your destination as planned. I am going to miss you two!
Hey Tiffany! Best of luck on your journey! It looks like a lot, but I'm sure once you get into the swing of it it'll be a blast! Especially the areas that you are driving through! Yeah on getting a laptop too! What did you end up getting? I cannot wait to hear about everything! Have you already put in your two weeks? Love ya girl!
Hey, you! You might want to recalculate that leg of your trip on 8/5. Do you have any idea how long and arduous a drive it will be from Rapid City, SD to Spokane, WA??! Unless you're either planning on driving for 20 - 24 hours with inclement-free weather, or you have a co-driver with you, I can't see how you're going to get there in a day. Montana is a pretty big place, in case you're unaware.
